Owners at Marriott's Newport Coast Villas will either own annual (every year) usage or biennial (every other year) usage. Two bedroom units are available, and all feature an ocean view. The usage available in one week segments, and is generally floating, meaning the week can be used anytime during the season purchased, subject to availability; however Platinum Plus and Holiday are fixed weeks. Marriott's Newport Coast Villas' seasons are divided into Gold, Platinum, Platinum Plus, and Holiday. Gold season consists of weeks 1 through 22; Platinum season consists of weeks 23 through 25 and 27 through 51; Platinum Plus is week 26, and Holiday is week 52. Owners may check in on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday depending on availability. Owners will be responsible for an annual maintenance fee, paid to the Condominium Owner's Association (COA). Marriott uses Interval International as an exchange company, and has a private reservation section within Interval International, which allows for priority reservations at more than 2,300 resorts in over seventy-five countries
